Keep it under you hat 'But as a councillor she was on Kensington and Chelsea’s housing scrutiny committee, which oversees “community safety issues”, until May 2014. A 2014/15 report, in which she is named, says the committee scrutinised work on Grenfell Tower' oops!!

If the council is paying their rents and bills until June 2019 and the charity commission has paid out at least £20000 to each of the survivors and payments from other funds, plus their all in some form of paid for accommodation, why is UC such a problem to them?

BBCLondonNews WTF is a 'Grenfell Tower MP' jeez the level of journalism at the BBC these days is appalling.

Universal Credit is hostile environment.

BBCLondonNews Grenfell Tower has it's own MP?

Problem is every time this excuse for an MP opens her mouth I'm reminded of the utter shit that normally comes out of it.

should be stopped for everyone forever-the tory panto as three ugly sisters-May-McVey and Rudd-two heartless ministers praised for their work by the third from dispatch box. a tory wouldn't know compassion if they tripped over it, think it was a homeless person or a rough sleeper

I wonder if those virtue-signallers responding to this BBC tweet, saw the posh smartly furnished Kensington flats - now occupied by foreign born ex Grenfell residents claiming benefits?

This isn't a Grenfell or a Christmas problem.... It's a Tory problem where they are rolling out an unjust benefit system that's leaving voulnerable people without money for some time (around 6 weeks) and even when they finally get it, it's not enough to survive on.

So? How many of them are Christians anyway?

Delay, it should be scrapped all together. Every time a govenment get into power, they cause havoc changing policy which ultimately hurts the most vulnerable and arguably those in need of help.

This shows the compassion of the Tories, could this launch not have been put back till the New Year? it means some people wont be having a Merry Christmas,in fact no Christmas at all.tis the season to be merry alright.

It's gone beyond just halting the rollout that only helps the people not yet on U C the people driven into debt or made homeless need to have compensation to put them back to where they were before they were enrolled into the scheme.

Now. Special. Treatment on benefits. How many. Are. On. Benefits.

emmadentcoad We all feel sorry for the victim's and families affected by Grenfell Tower tragedy but Universal credit should be halted everywhere as it's causing mass hardship on 1000's of people. It's a shame the Labour opposition hasn't put forward motions in commons to stop it

Don’t these idiots know you only get to change things when you WIN general elections and form a government, opposition mp’s demands are boring and shouldn’t get publicity.

Their date was already pushed back. It’s just bandwagonist behaviour from the MP, who is using the tragedy of her constituents to push her party’s agenda. None of these MPs actually give a shit about benefits.

I didn't know 'Grenfell Tower' was a parliamentary constituency.

Why would anyone listen to her? she was Committee Chair when the exterior panel decision was made
