Greggs axes 'bake' from main menu leaving fans gutted

Greggs enthusiasts are absolutely gutted as the beloved bakery chain has decided to ditch a fan-favourite from its plant-based menu. The high street staple has confirmed to The Sun that it's bidding farewell to the Vegan Steak Bake, much to the dismay of meat-free pastry aficionados.

Another distressed fan demanded answers, saying: "Oi, why you stopping the vegan steak bake! ". A third echoed the sentiment with a post reading: "Why has the vegan steak bake disappeared again? ". Regrettably, Greggs has indeed axed the item, aiming to refresh its vegan selection. In an official statement, a spokesperson revealed: "Our Vegan Steak Bake will be taking a break from the menu to make way for a tasty vegan favourite, which will be launching next week."
