MINISTERS have been urged to do more to help disabled workers back to the office after an alarming survey found just one in seven feel safe returning.

Scope called on the Prime Minister to "stop forgetting his promise to disabled people", saying its study found that a third of disabled workers felt under pressure to go back to offices, largely because of pressure from employers and the Government. "We are now hearing reports that millions could soon be asked to shield again, creating even more anxiety and confusion about how people can protect themselves while being able to work.

"We are publishing advice and guidance for disabled people, making £3.7 billion available to local authorities to help address pressures on local services including adult social care, and pledging £750 million to ensure charities can continue their vital work.

Is working from home here to stay in the UK?The Confederation for British Industry (CBI) has warned that our city centres will become ‘ghost towns’ if workers do not return to their offices And this is the workers fault? 😂😂😂😂 yes but suburbs and small villages will pick up the slack, we do not need an overpriced pret sandwich but home made cakes from little dotty tea shop that was in the family for 40yrs, small businesses run the economy and pay taxes giant corporations don’t And? Too much money from dark sources in real estate speculation ... “luxury developments” totally unaffordable to the wider society. The CBI has long been close to the conservatives So to them I say.:“Let’s let the market decide” or it doesn’t apply when WORKERS have it?
