Government accused of being London-centric with Covid support

The government has been accused of London-centric decision-making as the chancellor looked set to help businesses suffering under Covid restrictions less than a week after a ban on household mixing came into force in the capital – after ignoring similar pleas from much of the north of England for almost three months.

Poor old Boris, he still thinks he is Lord Mayor of London, where he openly bragged he attracted more billionaires than any other city. He runs the place on behalf of the ultrarich, and none of them live in Birmingham or Liverpool or Cardiff
