Former football boss Gordon Strachan says he would sign paedo footballer Adam Johnson

GORDON STRACHAN has said he would sign paedo footballer Adam Johnson if he showed remorse for his actions.

SunSport reported last Friday that the 31-year-old could be forced to look for a club outside English football if he wants to kick-start his career. Speaking on Sky Sports' The Debate, he argued that the ex-Sunderland ace deserves a second chance for the sake of his family.

Great to see some support for the lad. Well done on spreading the word Sun

On a show called the Debate. People dont like one side of the debate, so therefore he should be sacked?! Why dont Sky just set the agenda of what everyone’s right on opinion should be before it starts so we all know the score

In most countries in Europe the age of consent is 15 or lower. If he done this in france, it would not be an offence. He has paid the price for what he done, let him get on with his life.

He is probably trying to impress ScottishFA, this will do his chances of getting the Scottish national job no harm. The football federation has decided to remove these words whilst their enquiry was being held. Scottish football is finished!

talkLATCH Coming from the rag that lied about Hillsborough.

talkLATCH sign him for who

talkLATCH and look after his 15 year old daughter ?

AdamJohnson is *not* a 'paedo'! The girl was 15, perfectly legal in other countries; she wasn't prepubescent. And if you don't find such attractive then you're either totally gay *or* a liar. | GordonStrachan Football

Wot happened to the reabilatation Act if He was a plumber would you stop him getting a job

I'll judged opinion, don't think Gordon would be so forgiving if the wee girl that Johnson groomed was related to him.

Nelson Mandela came back from prison, yes My boy Adam will rise to take world best after prison, fake news reporters the SUN

He could sign him for 5 bags of haribo and 2 curly wurlys

Of course he would. He wants that girls number

Disgusting much?🙀😿

No club will have him.

not sure the club's sponsors he was signing for would agree

I'm getting the word...... NONCE!!!

Tut tut tut... He's on the sex offenders register and you want him to entertain and inspire kids Gordon Are you for real?!!!

Smidgen of respect gone now!!

Well, no worries there then because he’s not even a current manager of a football club so we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief!

Yes you all stick together

not surprised he did manage the bheastie bhoys

“For the sake of his family.” But what would that do to the victim? She has probably struggled to rebuild her life, and if Johnson is allowed to return to normality, it would cause further distress

Gordon Strachan's poor judgement explains why he is currently not working in football management. Any football team that calls itself a community club would not employ asex offender. If Johnson needs money he could always get a proper job.

I admire Theresa May's backbone - but her last days are looking as pitiful as Gordon Brown’sIf the highway to hell is strewn with good intentions, the slip road to Brexit will surely be littered with tattered indicative votes, smeared red lines and trashed statutory instruments. I don't admire her at ALL - I Voted for her twice and now I Loathe her Browns were more positive than this What it wants is 17.4 million brexiteers to declare unilateral independence from the EU tomorrow.
