Go on Yourself single release could help spur Scotland onto victory at Euros

An alternative folk-duo have teamed up with a community choir to release a song they hope will help propel the Scotland national football team on to great things at the Euros 2024.

The free download features the latest breaking news and exclusive stories, and allows you to customise your page to the sections that matter most to you.They decided to launch Go on Yourself as a rallying cry for the Tartan Army who are set to make their way in their tens of thousands to Germany for this month’s tournament, where they will take on the host nation in the opening match in Munich.

“It wasn’t specifically written for this but it fits with the ups and owns you go through as a Scotland supporter. He continued: “My first real memories are of Mexico 86 but I sort of remember my dad watching Spain 82 and him talking about Socrates.”
