Susanna Reid, the presenter of ITV's Good Morning Britain, issued a "please don't panic" warning to the show's viewers. She said this after announcing on Thursday that she would be taking a break from the popular morning show to enjoy Easter holidays.
While it remains unknown who will replace Susanna during her absence, her co-stars Kate Garraway, Ranvir Singh, and Charlotte Hawkins usually step up to the plate. Interestingly, it's quite common for the main ITV presenters on Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and This Morning, to put work aside and take time off during Easter and summer.
Much to Lorraine's surprise, the incredible announcement unfolded live on air. Out of the blue, Susanna greeted her friend: "Good morning Lorraine, this has come as an enormous surprise... I have a very special announcement for you, Lorraine Kelly. It doesn't get much bigger or more deserved than this."
The bombshell didn't stop there, with Susanna revealing that as well as Lorraine being nominated for her show, there was something else uniquely hers to celebrate.
