During a slightly uncomfortable moment on Good Morning Britain , host Kate Garraway found herself in an awkward situation with guest Jason Donovan. The ITV morning show saw Kate and co-host Adil Ray chatting with the Australian star about his return to the role of Frank-N-Furter in the Rocky Horror UK tour, reminiscing about his previous stint in 1998.
In the interview, Kate, 57, said: "That's the happy place that you're in now isn't it because 25 years ago, when you were last on stage, the Rocky Horror show in this role, it kind of saved you from a very very dark place, where it didn't look like at the time that you'd be looking and feeling this good 25 years on, did it? ".
As the interview progressed, confusion ensued when Jason hinted at an early departure, remarking: "Your comment before, you said: 'You look well and you look really healthy', it's because I've always had a sort of relatively positive outlook on life and I've always kept very fit. "I have great friends and great family around me, I think a support network when you're in those moments is crucial. But I'll leave you with, well, I won't leave you unless you want me to leave?" This prompted Adil to exclaim: "Where are you going? " while Kate chimed in with: "Don't go anywhere! ".
