Established in 1928 as a craft baker, Maphie now employs over 250 people across three sites and supplies global food brands, as well as household name businesses and wholesalers. “That increase in demand has led to a fantastic opportunity for us, which is to expand our workforce and continue to thrive in this excelling industry.

The site marks Macphie's biggest-ever investment since they acquired the factory in 2000, and comes after the McVitie's factory in Tollcross closed in September.
