Both lines going through Hyndland station have been closed as emergency services are on the scene dealing with an incident. A number of services will be impacted.

Both lines going through a Glasgow train station have been shut as emergency services attend an incident today, April 20.

Network Rail have confirmed that services are not able to travel through Hyndland station as police are on the scene. ScotRail have posted on social platform X stating that a number of services including those to Milngavie, Balloch and Dalmuir could be impacted by the ongoing incident.READ MORE: Glasgow mum 'paralysed with fear' as four-year-old bitten by dog at playparkScotrail wrote: "Emergency services are dealing with an incident in the Hyndland area. Trains through the station will be cancelled, delayed or revised.

"Some alternative routes are available but please type your journey into the app for the latest service information." Network Rail added: "Both lines are currently closed at Hyndland, where the police are dealing with an incident. We'll be working closely with @ScotRail to get trains moving again as soon as we're able to.British Transport Police have been contacted for comment.
