A Strathclyde University student is devastated after a motorbike he spent four months restoring was found burnt-out and dumped in a park after allegedly being stolen.
The alleged theft is understood to have happened sometime between 9pm on Tuesday, March 19, and 7am on Wednesday March 20. The bike was parked in the driveway outside his home in the Mansewood area.Josh told Glasgow Live: "I was up at 7am to walk a friend's dog. I went down and saw it wasn’t there. My sister went for a walk around the block and found the bike at the park.
He added: "I spent a lot of time, with friends, restoring the bike. I was using it to practise so that I could work towards getting my licence. There’s no other way to practise without spending loads of money.
