Shieldhall Road in the city's Govan has been closed from the A739 Clyde Tunnel to its junction with Elder Grove Avenue.Vehicle access to Elder Grove Avenue for residents will be maintained.

A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “Unfortunately there is no other way of carrying out the repair safely and we would ask motorists to follow signs for the diversion that has been put in place. “We are conscious of the inconvenience this may be causing but we are working as fast as safety will allow to complete the repair and reinstate the road.”
