Rude Cookies, located on Minard Street in Shawlands, have taken to social media platform Instagram to hit out at a celebrity band after a disappointing encounter

A popular Glasgow cookie shop has taken to social media after they were ghoted by a band following a special request.

READ MORE: Meet the Johnstone gym instructor set to represent Scotland in European Karate ChampionshipsHowever, the pair behind the sweet treats, Aga Taylor and Magda Lo Bianco, have called out a celebrity band on Instagram after they asked for gluten free cookies but failed to thank the Glasgow bakers for their efforts.

"We were super excited and of course we made some personalised cookies more for ourselves and the content but they saw the video of that and messaged us again saying they loved the cookies. After making the fresh batch Rude Cookies asked how would be best to deliver the gifts to the unnamed band, however, they never responded.The video goes on: "Thankfully I was really close to the stage so I literally shouted 'I've got a gift for you'.
