The airport has said it is preparing for 'one of its busiest periods of the year' as an expected 90,000 passengers are set to travel through the terminal for the start of the Easter school break this weekend.
There will also be entertainment on offer for younger departing passengers this weekend including a visit from the Easter Bunny, who will be on hand to dish out chocolate eggs. “As this is the first prolonged school holiday of the year, the airport will be busier than usual with more than 23,000 passengers travelling through on each of our peak days.
