First announced back in November, Girls Aloud 's long-awaited reunion is finally in full swing. If you want a sense of the appetite for this comeback, the first run of dates sold out so fast, they had to add 15 more nights.
The biggest-selling girl group of the 21st century first formed on Popstars, but they’re real success followed the release of ‘Sound of the Underground’, an instant hit that took home the UK Christmas Number 1 and spent four weeks at the top. Their debut album of the same name came in 2003, followed closely by ‘What Will The Neighbours Say’, ‘Chemistry’ and a first arena tour in 2006.
Also on support will be DJ Mr. Theo, a DJ from London who will be on hand to make sure the crowd are suitably warmed up and ready to go when Girls Aloud take to the stage.
