A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD girl was scarred for life after a cup of boiling tea was spilt over her while on a flight to Turkey.
Dad Qasam, 37, said the Birmingham family were only 40 minutes into the four-hour flight to Dalaman in August last year when the accident unfolded. "There was just a lady who was a nurse who came to help but she said that the crew had nothing she could use to help so to just use water on a tissue." "My daughter screamed, cried and hugged us for the entire rest of the journey – the whole flight must have been distressed. I wasn’t given a bucket to submerge my daughter’s feet in, I just had to keep it cool with tissues soaked with water."
