A TEENAGER has been expelled from a Christian school for having a rainbow-colored birthday cake which looked similar to the design of the gay pride flag.
Whitefield Academy told the teen's parents that she was booted out for repeated “lifestyle violations.” The mum said: “It was an email expelling Kayla from Whitefield immediately due to a post on social media.” Mum Kimberly claims her daughter was not representing the colors of the LGBTQ pride movement and there was no hidden agenda in the picture.“There was nothing intended by that and even when I went back and got the receipt from the bakery, it didn't say anything about representation, it just said assorted colors.”
It’s Christian school!
Why shove all that rainbow thing in peoples faces
Typical of narrow-minded institutions such as religious schools. But, it is good for the girl, she'd better go to a school where she learns to think by herserlf instead of learning just obedience.
Oh my god. This is ridiculous and I am really appalled. Is this what we expect in schools nowadays?
It's just a sweater. It's just a cake. Why did school make it into something it's not?
Soooo wrong !!!!!
Hardly a “ Christian” school then!
Are we on 15 century or 21. As this for me is discrimination. Special come a catholic school where the Catholic Church around the world have priest doing nasty things with children’s.
