Italian designer accused of diminishing sexual violence against women with comments

The fashion designer Giorgio Armani has been accused of diminishing sexual violence against women after he claimed the fashion industry was “raping” women with short-lived trends and sex-driven marketing.

The guy is right and all you could focus on was the word 'rape' I thought the guardian was better then that.

Though he used the word ‘rape’ ,what he wants to say is more like ‘fashion exploits women’ than ‘rape doesn’t matter.

Well, it is a rape and he doesn’t use lightly!

He's almost as tangerine as Trump. Is this what corona virus looks like? A fat right wing biggot?

When you use words like 'rape', and 'nazi' inappropriately not only are you degrading the impact of the words but also belittle people who have genuinely been effected by these actions.
