GERRY Cinnamon has thanked Glasgow for bringing an 'unbelievable' atmosphere to his Hampden gig.
The Castlemilk-born star, 37, performed to 50,000 adoring fans on Saturday evening and is set to do it all over again to another 50,000 tonight. From self-releasing his debut album Erratic Cinematic in 2017 to selling out stadiums, the singer was blown away by the reception he got from the crowd after the show was delayed for three years due to the Covid pandemic."Folk there from the four corners of theGerry played classics including ‘Dark Days’, ‘Sun Queen’, ‘Sometimes’ and ‘Belter’, as well an unreleased track ‘Sacred’.
He also fitted in a tribute to his hero Billy Connolly with his own rendition of ‘I Wish I Was in Glasgow’. While The Charlatans, Jake Bugg and The Snuts warmed up the Saturday crowd, Travis and Vistas will replace them tonight.
