Just 5% of people say the current crop of contenders offer a better standard than in the past with 45% saying they are worse.

Jeremy Corbyn was attacked over his handling of anti-Semitism within Labour with one audience member saying he"didn't buy this whole nice old grandpa" image. There were also questions raised about his political allegiances and preferences, specifically his past admiration for Bolivia's former President Evo Morales.

Jo Swinson came under fire for her unrealistic claim that she could become Prime Minister following this election and for her voting record while in the coalition government with the Conservatives. The Liberal Democrat's flagship policy to cancel Brexit without a referendum also appears to have landed badly with some traditional backers, with one remain supporter saying he would rather leave the EU than see the 2016 result overturned without another vote.Labour and the Lib Dems will be hoping their radical and expensive manifestos launched this week will help overcome voter nervousness about their leaders.

The Conservatives' manifesto launch on Sunday will be a key moment and potential turning point in an election campaign that has so far seen few breakthroughs or break downs.Watch Dermot Murnaghan live from 9pm on 12 DecemberFind out what happens next in All Out Politics special from 9am with Adam Boulton

I do think 💭 so as well.

Clearly they do not remember Ian Duncan Smith, Neil Kinnock, and Ed (Stone) Milliband.

No, no one worse than May or Brown....

Almost half of voters voted remain guess who their polling

May day! May day!

It is dire. With around 60 million technically eligible adults, this shower is the best that can be offered up. It gets worse, just look at the complete front bench teams, Jacob_Rees_Mogg HackneyAbbott michaelgove MattHancock , it is pathetic.

Without a doubt. It’s picking the best of a bad bunch, which doesn’t say much about any of them.

Obviously, BorisJohnson is far worse than the other 2 we have had 10+ years of inept Tory mismanagement. Both joswinson & jeremycorbyn can only offer an improvement on this pathetic government especially if they work together

1997 Tony Blair would demolish the lot sadly.

Only half?

I'll just assume you're poll confirms NicolaSturgeon is showing the best leadership then.....

taking the negative twist as usual.

Boris is the best leader since Thatcher.

Bring back David Cameron. Most level headed politician ever.

That's not the impression I got from the wildly enthusiadtic scenes when Jeremy Corbyn arrived in Sheffield last night.

So over half don't then? Another exaggerated headline. You're on form today

You’ve got a Labour leader who can’t even make a decision what colour shirt to wear in the morning for fear of offending somebody and an ex Rampton patient who thinks sticking two fingers up at 17.4 million Brits is cool. BORIS WILL WALK IT.

That's not too difficult given the times we live in. Previous leaders in times gone by got away with loads.
