The Dispo app pretty much mimics the functions of a disposable camera. Yep, bear with us. It’s a good thing. It’s tagline? “Capture and share moments.”Dobrik apparently came up with the idea for the app after seeing friends use disposable cameras at parties and saw how none of them worried about how the pics came out. There wasn’t the usual editing, the scrolling-through-pics-looking-at-how-bad-I-look action most of us have with the cameras on our phones.

One consumer expert, Chris Cantino, summarised Dispo on Twitter “in a nutshell” writing: “shallow and fake 'IG aesthetics' are rendered obsolete, no memes, quotes, or camera roll uploads, collaborative photo rolls allow communities to curate interests together, content consumption flywheel every day at 9am, candid, casual, and REAL.”
