It's finally been confirmed that Gavin and Stacey will be making a return to screens as James Corden shared a snap with Ruth Jones as they held up a script for the new series.
Rumours started swirling earlier this year that the comedy series would be returning for a Christmas special. But, until now, many of the show's stars including Ruth shut down any speculation of a new episode. Reflecting on a meeting she had with fellow creator James she explained: "We went for lunch in London a few months ago and we got papped. And then the next thing is 'Oh my God they must be writing more Gavin & Stacey,' which is lovely. It's lovely that people love it and they're so desperate for it. Imagine if it was the opposite and they were like 'Oh God, they're not bringing that back.
