A free demonstration with delicious samples is taking place next month

A new cookery shop with a huge range of kitchenware, utensils, crockery and baking supplies from top cookware brands has opened at a Nottinghamshire garden centre. It is based at Notcutts Wheatcroft, in Edwalton, and is the first of its kind to open within the 19-strong group of garden centres nationwide.

High-quality kitchenware from brands including Kuhn Rikon, Katana Saya, Global, Cath Kidston and Mary Berry is on sale. A free live cookery demonstration will be taking place on Saturday, June 1, from 11am to 3pm at the garden centre in Landmere Lane. The event is in conjunction with Swiss cookware brand Kuhn Rikon, known for its durable Swiss-made pans, knives and kitchen gadgets. Maria Vincent, cooking expert and TV food stylist from Kuhn Rikon, will be serving delicious samples and sharing her top tips for making the most of your cookware.Jon Wilson, general manager at Notcutts Wheatcroft, said: “We’re delighted to introduce the new Notcutts Cook Shop to our garden centre.

“While plants and gardening remain at our core, we’re proud to offer local residents an enhanced shopping experience with kitchenware, homeware, gifts and more, alongside our 300-seater restaurant. Customers really enjoy visiting and spending time with us and we’re sure our new Notcutts Cook Shop will be a huge success and welcome addition.”

Notcutts Privilege Club members will receive 20 per cent off the Kuhn Rikon range on the day. Anyone can attend the free demonstration with no need to book.
