Garbaruk machine light alloy XC crankset with hollow crank arms

Though machined from 7075 aluminum, the crankset’s weight is comparable to many carbon cranksets on the market, at a claimed 370-380g without the chainring. And, it’s absolutely stunning.Poland-based drivetrain components manufacturer, Garbaruk, are due to release their very first crankset, aimed at the weight-conscious XC crowd.

At 370g-380g the Garbaruk XC Crankset is very impressive for a CNC machined aluminum offering. Semi-comparable is , which weighs a claimed 475g without the chainring, though that one is rated for all-mountain riding too.Customers can choose from 8 colors of crank arm and 8 colors of lock ring, offering 64 possible color combinations – and that’s before you consider which chainring to buy, of which there are 8 colors to choose from.

The Garbaruk Crankset has a 30mm spindle and is compatible with Race Face bottom brackets and runs the Cannondale direct mount standard. Initially, it will be available in 170mm and 175mm crank arm length options only, though other length options are due to come. Also due in October 2022 is the Road/Gravel version.The Garbaruk XC Crankset will retail at $420 USD and can be ordered from September 1st 2022 direct from Garbaruk.
