Staff at a Sherwood restuarant struggled to put a familiar face from the big screen to a name. But Game of Thrones fan chef Pierre Angelo - chef at the Crimson Tree, in Mansfield Road, checked on Google to confirm the person he had just rustled up a salad for was the Nottingham-born star Bella Ramsey.
Crimson Tree owner Okai Yildiz, 34, who took over ten months ago, admits he did not realise who they were in the beginning - and is not a big Game of Thrones fan. But Pierre thought he knew the face from somewhere - and did his Google check just before they left. "He got excited, so asked, because [they] look younger", says Okai.Pierre, a massive Game of Thrones fan, took a picture of the star and posted it on Instagram and Facebook just before they left.
Previously, the Nottingham performer also led the 2017 TV adaptation of The Worst Witch books, as titular character Mildred Hubble. For performances over 40 episodes, Bella won the Young Performer award at the 2019 British Academy Children's Awards.
