Danny Bolger, owner of The Brunch Club in Liverpool, said someone booked all the tables in the restaurant but gave fake details and nobody showed up, leaving the venue empty

A restaurant owner has hit out at "malicious" would-be customers made a booking for bottomless brunch but failed to show up after giving faking details.

Cruel...

So someone booked out ur whole restaurant, that must be 50 covers ish. And it didn’t cross any of ur minds to ring and confirm the booking? Not ur Front of House Manager, not the owners, nobody in ur business thought to call to check?! Sorry but that’s ur due diligence at fault.

We want to eat out with family and friends, but it's just not safe. I hope the government helps him out. Mask up and care for all. We need really good decent and reasonable leadership. =
