Parcel delivery giant DPD has confirmed delays to some Nottingham and Nottinghamshire postcodes. Thousands of homes across the county from Nottingham city centre to Newark will be impacted by the move, which is a temporary measure to its next-day delivery service.
Royal Mail workers staged a strike on Sunday, December 11, and Monday, December 12. The industrial action being taken over pay, jobs and conditions, will continue tomorrow, Wednesday, December 14, and on Thursday, December 15. Further strike action is planned for Friday, December 23, and Saturday, December 24, according to The Communication Workers Union .
