Aldi is keen to expand its presence across the UK, with plans to open new stores in various locations.
Earlier this year, the budget supermarket retailer revealed a £550 million plan to open new stores and upgrade existing ones throughout the country. While the exact number of new stores hasn't been disclosed, Aldi has shared some of the locations it's targeting. These prime spots are mainly located in town centres or on the outskirts of towns. Some of Aldi's focus areas include parts of London, Warrington, Newcastle, Birmingham, and Cambridge.Among the 10 locations pinpointed in the North West, two are in Lancashire.
