Cars have been queuing since early on Thursday morning to try and benefit from a fuel deal.
A number of GO Garages across Northern Ireland have dropped their petrol and diesel prices for 12 hours today, to celebrate Thanksgiving. The company advertised that from 7am to 7pm, petrol will be 1.319 and diesel 1.559. Major queues have been at garages from this morning, with rules on transactions and stock of fuel outlined on a banner for the company. It reads:"Go Red on Thanksgiving Thursday DEAL... No Black Friday... No Catch... Just HUGE savings!
"7am- 7pm today ONLY at the following sites: Go Portadown, Go Carrickfergus, Go Cookstown, Go Crumlin, Go Yorkgate, Go Great Victoria Street, Go Grand Parade, Go Twin Spires, Go Crewcatt, Go Ballynahinch, Go Dunman Cookstown, Go A1 Banbridge, Go Central Park Mallusk , Go Armagh, Go Moyola, Go Cameron Stewarts Cookstown, Go Lissan, Go Moscow Road , Go Landscape Crumlin Road, Go St. Marys Road Liverpool, LCC Oil Ballymena , Antrim Road Service Station Belfast.
"One transaction per customer. Must be into vehicle tanks ONLY. No container/ storage tank fills allowed. Ts and Cs apply while stocks last."
Media don't challenge or investigate anymore, they only report what they are told and serve it as fact. Maybe ask how they can drop the price by 30p per litre?
All queueing for 'a bargain' GO arent taking a thumping on that price just to give back..so it shows you what other filling stations like the BP's are making on the mark up..on top of the 5p vat relief they're still getting. Profiteering and greed all the way
