Frozen 2 is an ambitious, funny and grown-up sequel that's as magical as ever

The pressure to replicate the $1.2billion success of Frozen must have been utterly terrifying for all concerned, but you wouldn’t know it from

- which takes into account it’s original audiences being five years older but still wanting that fairytale feeling.Frozen fans can breathe a sigh of relief - the highly-anticipated sequel is as magical as the firstAnna and Kristoff are deeply in love, but Elsa is troubled by a strange voice that keeps calling to her.

This calling unveils a deep-rooted magical curse held over an enchanted forest, which can only be broken with the help of…you guessed it - two sisters and a miniature snowman. The quest begins! It feels a more grown up film, with plenty of thrilling set pieces elevating the film from it’s more sentimental moments.When Elsa is troubled by a strange voice that keeps calling to her, the sisters, and of course Olaf, set off on their exciting questThe undeniable star of the show is Olaf - Josh Gadd’s snowman is hands down the best character Disney have created since Buzz Lightyear.

Ultimately for me, it lacked that breakout killer song but aside from that - this is a brilliant sequel your kids will love.Frozen 2 is definitely more grown-up - creators have clearly taken into account the fact that its original audiences are now five years older
