….we hadn’t shot for several years, but as always with David our familiarity enabled us to get great pictures from the start. David brought his own soundtrack and turned me onto a number of acts, including 'The Flaming Lips'! In fact, they ended up using scoring part of the soundtrack tolived just around the corner for me, off Holland Park Avenue, in Notting Hill Gate. He was his usual gracious self.

She was a lively spirit and we were able to shoot a number of different setups. and I recall how much she laughed. It was a fun shoot…..….His then girlfriend, known as 'Iggy The Eskimo', opened the door completely naked. That set the tone. We had planned the session for a while. I was going to shoot the cover of his first solo album, the Madcap Laughs. In spite of his reputation for being difficult, he was very cooperative.
