Freddie Mercury's lover Jim Hutton's reaction to Queen star's AIDS diagnosis - in his words

learned he was HIV positive and living with AIDS approximately five years before he died. The Queen frontman kept the diagnosis private, only sharing the news with the public in the days before his death on 1991. But there were a couple of people in his inner circle who knew, including his long-term boyfriend Jim Hutton.Three years after Mercury’s death, Hutton appeared on Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast to speak about his book, Mercury and Me: An Intimate Memoir by the Man Freddie Loved.
