The world's former fattest man Juan Pedro Franco is back on his feet and walking with the aid of a stick after shedding an incredible 52 stone in three years thanks to surgery, therapy and dieting.

Juan Pedro Franco is able to walk with the aid of a stick following surgery. 35-year-old Mexican was formerly bedridden and at risk of death from his weight. Franco was dubbed the world's fattest man by Guinness World Records in 2017.
