MacDonald, of the city's Townhead, was jailed for 16 years over his role in an attempted £6million bank robbery in 1991.

MacDonald, 61, was on trial accused of attacking the woman, 36, at her home in Glasgow's Dalmarnock on June 25.

The woman replied:"He had bail conditions not to approach the address - that's why I believed they wanted him removed."

The hearing was told that the pair attended The Sir John Moore pub in the city centre together with a three-year-old on May 30 - breaching MacDonald's bail terms.
