‘We were literally teenagers when we picked that stupid name’

The original band name was a nod to the song “Dixie Chicken” by the rock band Little Feat.

I'd maybe not recommend they go with that name to start with, but it's something they could have reclaimed in a sense, back years ago, when they were relevant (musically & politically). To make this move now, just comes across as pathetic.

And the 'Chicks' is good

If they want to be really woke why not Chicks With Dix?

Worse to be known as The Clicks I would have thought, especially when they are anything but.
