Former child star Adam Rich's cause of death after he was found in home

The 54-year-old was found dead inside his LA home, more than five months ago in January.

The American actor was once named as VH1's list of the 100 greatest child stars. He was best known for appearing in the 1970s show Eight Is Enough, when he was just eight years old.He also appeared in ABC's Code Red and Dungeons and Dragons, in the early 1980s, in which he voiced teenage wizard Presto the Magician.

He wrote. "I'm gutted. Adam was more than a colleague. He was very much my only little brother. A lifelong friend."
