USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter has leapt to the defence of Giovanni Reyna and reiterated that the midfielder possesses 'unquestionable' and 'amazing' quality. Reyna joined Nottingham Forest on loan from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window but he has been limited to just 38 Premier League minutes, spanning three games, since then.
Reyna has an impressive record for his country, despite being only 21. To date, he has scored seven goals and produced five assists to go alongside his 25 caps, and he's in line for more minutes in their Nations League final against Mexico on Monday. The US then ready themselves for the Copa America this summer, a tournament which Reyna will hope to participate in.
