Police officers were called to Summertrees Road in Ellesmere Port at around 8.20pm on Wednesday, May 1 to reports a man had been assaulted by “three unknown men”. Officers arrived at the scene to find a man had been stabbed several times.
Numerous bunches of flowers have been left at the scene this morning in tribute to the victim. A note on one of the bouquets read: "Thinking of all your family and friends, you will be very much missed, love Terrie." “Patrols have been stepped up in the local area to provide reassurance, and officers will also be conducting house-to-house enquiries near to the scene of the incident.
