Big floods likely to become more frequent because of climate breakdown

Poor management of the rural landscape along with global heating and building on floodplains are the main factors that led to the floods that have engulfed towns in northern England, according to experts.

The Government need to invest money to have Flood defences, to protect ongoing historical areas, Homes etc, that encounter Flooding.

Not climate change You're slipping?

Important to note, allowing flooding across natural floodplains reduces high water levels, not building retaining wall 'defences' or dredging. Dredging is ineffectual against sudden heavy and continous downpours. So, don't build on floodplains!

And rain. Don't forget the rain.

So building a floodplain caused the flood? 😉
