A government website offering £50 bike repair vouchers in England crashed after the scheme launched on Tuesday night.

BBCPolitics People who take cycling seriously are capable of maintaining their bikes. I doubt even if you need to take it to a specialist the bill will be over £50 in most cases. I am sure there are better things for this money and where is it coming from? Totally ridiculous.
Why do I have to take my bike to a bike shop for this, replacing parts on a bike is easy, can I not just buy them and fix it up myself?

When is ‘fix how to ride your bike’ scheme? -red light means stop, even for cyclists -no cycling 2/3/4/5/6+ abreast -hand signals to indicate -plan junctions in advance -pavement is for pedestrians -lights are required on roads in darkness -speed limit also applies to cyclists

All bicycles should have number plates and insurance , or they can’t ride them, this way they will behave themselves 🙂
