One of the people killed in yesterday’s knife attack at London Bridge has been identified as a University of Cambridge worker.
Having graduated from the university he went on to work as a course coordinator for its Institute for Criminology’s Learning Together programme aimed at improving rehabilitation. The assailant, who was wearing a fake suicide-vest, had ‘threatened to blow up’ the building before running out onto the bridge and being tackled by members of the public and shot dead by armed police.He was killed by Usman Khan, who was released from prison in December 2018
