Plans for the latest development in a huge regeneration scheme on the edge of Manchester city centre have been revealed. A mix of 38 townhouses and duplex apartments offering 'state-of-the-art' facilities would be built in Bromley Street if the plans are approved.
The Bromley Street development is within the Victoria Riverside part of the project. People living in the mix of two and three-bedroom properties planned in a 'unique' terrace street will have access to a residents’ lounge, dining and bar area, a gym and a fitness suite. In addition to private terraces and balconies in many of the properties, the homes on Bromley Street would have access to podium gardens which feature an outdoor working area. The site is within a short walk of FEC’s MeadowSide development and the city centre.
Bromley Street joins the 37-storey Crown View, 26-storey Park View and 18-storey City View schemes within the Victoria Riverside area which is set to create 634 homes. Of these, 128 would be 'affordable' through shared ownership and rent to buy schemes.
