A one-year-old child was released from a car by firefighters after getting locked in today.

One fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury at 2.37pm on Tuesday to Gloucester Road in the county town.A spokesman for Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said it was a call to"one-year-old child locked in car.

" They added that the child was"released from car by firefighters."
