How the FIA should punish any breaches of the F1 cost capOPINION: On Wednesday, the FIA will issue F1 teams with compliance certificates if they stuck to the 2021 budget cap. But amid rumours of overspending, the governing body must set a critical precedent. It needs to carefully pick between revisiting the bitterness of Abu Dhabi, a contradictory punishment and ensuring parity for the rest of the ground-effect era mattkewF1 1 point deducted for every £1 overspent .. fair mattkewF1 They've already set a precedent - and that precedent is to take the easiest, lamest most self-serving option whenever challenged. mattkewF1 🤔 FIA will water it down and claim that Team A (might be anyone) didn't realise they had to count everything so will get away with it.

FIA "way over the top" with latest F1 black and orange flag - Magnussen“The FIA should know that. They make the regulations. That part doesn't come off. So it's not a safety concern and here it wasn't even flapping.' 💬 Kevin Magnussen was frustrated by an 'over the top' black-and-orange flag at F1's Singapore GP ⬇️ The rate at which the FIA is embarrassing itself is kind of impressive. Do not argue with the fia, if it deemed too dangerous then the meatball flag will be shown What is the car behind you when this flag was shown? 😂

Hamilton says FIA has 'failed' in bunching up the F1 fieldThe 2022 F1 regulations have been hailed for improving drivers' ability to race close to one another but Lewis Hamilton believes they have 'failed' in another aspect. ✏ FormulaNerds Was never meant to do that. It aimed to have cars be able follow closer. Hamilton is just salty that he doesn’t have car he can put on the first row and drive off 45 seconds ahead. The objective was to allow cars to be able to follow closely, not bunch up the field. Anyone who dreams of bunching up the field is delusional because in almost every error there has been one or two above the rest. It's the nature of F1. We don't give AF what Lulu feels or thinks.
