A study has been retracted after it was criticised as being sexist for saying female surgeons who posed in bikinis or ‘provocative’ Halloween costumes were unprofessional.
But before it got taken down, female nurses, doctors and surgeons posed in side-by-side shots of themselves in their scrubs next to images of them having fun in their bikinis. The tag has more than 20,00 submissions with medical professionals from all over the world joining in.One of the healthcare providers joining the trend was nurse Mel Fidel from San Diego.
