Fast-track 'global talent visa' to be launched days after Brexit

The government has announced it will launch a “global talent visa” on 20 February to encourage scientists, researchers and mathematicians to come to the UK, with no limit on how many people can be accepted.

It seems Christine Jardine doesn’t understand that removing the job offer requirement from the old tier one system, FUNDAMENTALLY changes how many more talented foreigners will be able to apply.

I think many of those mathematical geniuses will end up driving for Uber once they have their settlement scheme fast tracked. Especially as there's no cap and no job offer requirement.
