Reading FC supporter group Sell Before We Dai plan protest to 'highlight the plight' of the women's team.

Reports had emerged that the future of Reading FC Women was in doubt as the Royals' financial difficulties continue.

"We are launching a billboard campaign in the Reading town centre. This is to highlight the plight of the Reading FC Women's setup," Sell Before We DaiReading announced in early June that they were talking with more interested parties after entering a period of exclusivity with an unnamed potential buyer.

With that period having lapsed and preseason fast approaching, Sell Before We Dai have urged any interested buyers to step up their interest in the club and fast track a sale."The sooner you demonstrate that you are interested in Reading FC then the earlier we can mitigate further damage taking place.

"To any new owners, we expect a commitment to the club's long-term success by supporting the whole club, this includes the Women's team too." Sell Before We Dai shared that their billboard would "go live" at 5pm on Wednesday and encouraged supporters to raise awareness around the situation online.
