Family takes in Ukrainian refugee and dad runs off with her just 10 days later

Sofiia Karkadym fled Lviv to stay with the Garnett family but fell in love with the dad

Tony Garnett, 29, applied to be part of the Government’s refugee scheme but grew impatient at how long it was taking and joined Facebook groups where Ukrainians were looking for sponsors.invaded. The two them started chatting in a language Lorna did not understand, staying up to watch TV after she had gone to bed and went to gym with each other regularly.

The couple said they did not plan for this to happen but could not help falling in love with each other They ended up ‘finding excuses to touch and brush against each other’ and things got tense in the house.

Tbf it makes a change for the wife running off with the other guy.
