A HOMELESS family of six living in a cramped, filthy room with a blood-stained bed and mouse poo on the carpet say they’re trapped in a “nightmare”.
They hit rock-bottom after Roxanne suffered serious post-natal depression and mental health issues after the birth of their daughter, Aimee, in Cornwall last year.Craig was working as a chef, but he was sacked for taking time off work to care for her and their kids – one of whom has special needs, including cerebral palsy.As Craig is from Bristol, and his mum is retired in the city, they decided to move there.
As Craig and his family hadn’t lived in Bristol for more than six months, his “local links” weren’t strong enough to meet strict rules.Told they would have to return to Cornwall, they were initially put in a single room in a shared house in Newquay, before being moved around several other temporary homes, Bristol Live adds.
But they had another hurdle as there was “absolutely nowhere in Cornwall that will take a family of six on benefits in private rented accommodation.”
Why?

Let me put it gently to all those who are British. Fight for what is ours before the world buys what little is left, leaving us all with nothing.
Here my words, while this ongoing stupidity of this continuous futile debate of whether we leave or remain, is not solving the issue which is so apparent in our everyday lives. tell me is there any MPs who find themselves in similar circumstances as this family today.
May I just say to the Sun newspaper. A subsidiary to News Corp, with assets worth over 17 billion. What would it cost to show your appreciation by housing this family and caring for there needs? Instead of just highlighting yet another travesty within the UK.
How long do we the British people have to endure this? How long do we have to listen to the continuous lies that the conservative party and others who try to gain seats and voters? But are nothing in return? Words and promises amount to nothing.
Is sad to see hardship within what is probably the richest country in the world. There are simply not enough homes being built to accommodate the influx of foreigners. The Conservatives have been in business for a good number of years. What's happening to our taxes?
Wow where do we go with this one, do we blame immigration and those responsible for the managing of such situations that are becoming more common daily. What's happening to this country with its pathetic policies that seem to be ignoring hardships of those that matter most.
WHY don't they try cleaning it and setting a few traps, or is that too much like hard work.

Pregnant again too-that would increase the risk of post natal happening again. I get things went downhill (which could happen with any family)but if they have a child with cerebral palsy wouldn’t they be receiving carers and disability payments?

Lucky buggers! Luxury! We used to sleep 17 people 4 cows and a pig in one room! We used to get up half an hour before we went to bed!! Work down pit for 26 hrs a day for a penny! Tha dunt knows yea born!

Sorry for the PND & the situation & the kids situ. We do have s social housing crisis.Sadly being British born puts lots of people at a disadvantage where I live. In Cornwall there are lots of 2nd homes too. That said 4 kids & pregnant with no5 Come on now , use your heads !
