Facebook's Twitter and Instagram accounts hacked

Facebook's social media accounts were temporarily taken over by a group of hackers on Friday afternoon.

The group posted a statement on Facebook's Twitter account."Hi, we are OurMine. Well, even Facebook is hackable but at least their security is better then Twitter."Facebook's own website was not hacked. "As soon as we were made aware of the issue, we locked the compromised accounts and are working closely with our partners at Facebook to restore them," Twitter said in a statement.

I'd have used funky text characters rather than spaces; also they missed an apostrophe - so it's a 4/10 from me

Welcome to the internet. One thing I love is when people say 'I don't do social media because I don't want people I don't know reading all my personal info & looking at my private photos' I just wonder what the hell they think they would post on their profile.

Sounds like it was Khoros accounts that were hacked, not Facebook and Twitter.

Yeah who'd have thought it from the personnel information banks, should encrypt the encryption & encrypt the encryption that encrypts that & just before you click login, about 1mm above the login button you have to whisper your password really quietly so no one else can hear it.
